Toa Payoh Residence — Japandi Nest
"Meticulous space optimisation in a Toa Payoh public-housing apartment"

Project Story
Operating under the footprint of a modern HDB flat in Toa Payoh Central, every square centimeter was designed with strict spatial discipline. Our in-house carpentry studio prefabricated a comprehensive, bespoke shoe cabinet and partition screen at the entryway, featuring integrated bench seating and a fluted timber wall. In the kitchen, we engineered a sleek grey-toned L-shaped cooking zone with continuous under-cabinet indirect high-CRI lighting, paired with an elegant marble-veined quartz peninsula dining bar that floats gracefully into the living room. The bedrooms feature ceiling-height custom sliding wardrobes with sleek ultra-thin black borders and matte off-white facings, alongside automated space-tailored laundry and washer storage units to cleanly hide utilities from view.
